This window has been in the works for over a year at the CLA. It now lives at the Lutheran Center in Baltimore. The Lutheran Center is home to the offices of Lutheran World Relief, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and Lutheran Services of America. The window was named "Darkness Broken" after the 2nd stanza of the hymn "Christ, Our Human Likeness Sharing."

"Hear the word that Christ has spoken, Help the weak, the hungry feed; See the pow’rs of DARKNESS BROKEN, Sinners pardoned, captives freed: Christ the Savior, Christ the Servant, Help us meet our neighbor’s need."

The cross shape in front of the universe-like swirl reminds us that Christ's love extends to our brothers and sisters all over the world.
