Concordia Nebraska alumni and fellow liturgical artist Joanna Eden has been working with St. Peter Lutheran Church in Schaumburg Illinois. Here are her words on a recent project: Every year our early childhood families have the opportunity to come for an evening of Lenten activities and crafts. This year, the 3-6 year old children were literally "hands-on" by helping complete St. Peter's new Easter banners that hung for the first time on Easter Sunday and will remain mid-May. Each child chose their color and created their own hand-print butterflies that appear to be rising out of the tomb. What better way than to share with others how alive we are in Christ and how He has set us free so we can live!
