Cross Progress

By this point, all of the cross inserts have been framed and are ready for mosaic. The first in line was this insert for the season of Pentecost. The mosaic is suggestive of leaves and symbolizes growth. These shapes are cut from opaque glass and grouted to accentuate the space between the pieces. Below is a sneak peak at the End Times insert and some detail of the finished frame.
